Their culinary delights prepared by the highest of chefs didn't appease her in the slightest; she had her own special tastes. tastes that this school barely met. if her father knew, heck, if her race knew, this would not be tolerated. sure, maybe she could stomach the grotesque food, but it'd be like eating dirt. and the stuff they gave to appeal to her kind of appetite was terribly lacking, as vegan blood didn't come close to the strengh she received from the real thing. the small girl sat at a table, alone, drumming her sharp fingernails across the wooden surface while she waited for lunch to be delivered to her. her pale complexion stood out against the dark canvas of the cafeteria; red drapes, dark stained wood tables, black wood floors, she could've been mistaken for a ghost! her snow white locks that fell off her shoulders and down her back didn't help with that either. ghostly or not, she didn't care if others seemed afraid of her. they should've been. running her tongue along her protruding fangs, they ached in hunger. all these humans chatting about around the room seduced her with their bare necks, their pulsing veins, and ophelia felt the tinge of going wild. She could take any of them down, she knew it. But they didn't. That's what made it so easy. But no, no, the staff here would serve her the blood of deer, or a bear, or even something as minuscule as a squirrel, and she'd be able to resist killing them all. for now, ophey would have to wait. and sit. in hunger. with the annoying sound of human gossip ringing in her earholes. not everyone knew she was a vampire, but most knew she should be feared. with her bad reputation of getting into fights and bullying anyone of weak status, the young woman shouldn't be a book judged by her super cute cover. an icy golden glare scanned the room for anyone of of interest, anyone of vampire status, or most wanted, anyone from the administration office that was going to bring her the blood bags she bit into for three meals a day. ophelia sighed, surrounded by people she thought to be below her, could this school ever do something right? could they ever be on time? you think they would hurry, the way she could pounce on a student at any moment. the pale girl dug her nails into the woodwork of the table; how disappointing this school was.
